Phantom Racer - TWRP Fan Art - Progress
This is a bit of fan art inspired after listening to TWRP's amazing song "Phantom Racer", that I do not recommend listening too behind the wheel unless you want points on your licence...
This shows the progression of my work until completion. Originally I was planning on creating a fully animated music video tribute and this was a test for the visuals but the plan fell through as development on my game ramped up.
Finished Work
Began with blocking out the focus of the work the skull and helmet. Using Synthwave colour scheme.
Continued following the sketch to complete the body.
Filling out the background with the car interior, used a Lamborghini Kutash as ref.
Adding foreground elements and more background work to fill out the back window, adding TWRP and The Protomen Easter eggs who inspired this work.
Started with an initial sketch on a 920 X 540 canvas
Finally adding the shading to give more depth to the art.
