Here we have the physical construction and painting process of my Druid mask commission.

Using car body filler l can fill in the layer lines and then after sanding the surface looks smooth but still porous like bone.

The Human mask must be split down the middle to fit the client inside the snug mask. Both sides are joined by many small but strong magnets.

All the jaw bits, I wont lie I sometimes mixed them up briefly.

I achieved this look with basic acrylic paints and a black wash to shade the recesses and give a weathered look.

My workstation looks like a crime scene. 
Finally seal them all in water proof sealant to protect from outdoor conditions and also internal sweat. Remember kids costumes get hot!
